Job summary

Ms Companies, LLC in Nashville, TN is actively seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to support plant infrastructure, reliability, and capital projects. This hands-on engineer will maximize facility uptime, improve equipment reliability, and lead maintenance programs within a safety-first, solutions-driven operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline preferred or significant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting facilities maintenance or plant engineering in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of utility systems (Steam, HVAC, Compressed Air, Water, Vacuum).
• Experience managing maintenance projects, upgrades, and CAPEX initiatives.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot equipment failures and perform root cause analysis.
• Exposure to preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Proficiency with CMMS/EAM systems such as Maximo.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance and reliability activities for facility infrastructure and utility systems.
• Lead troubleshooting and coordinate repairs for facility and equipment failures.
• Manage facility improvements and CAPEX projects from planning through execution.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and monitor compliance.
• Analyze maintenance data to improve uptime and efficiency.
• Coordinate vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Support budget planning, project tracking, and maintenance reporting.
