Job summary

freshexpress is seeking a qualified Utilities Facilities Manager to oversee daily maintenance in a warehouse, coordinating refrigeration, maintenance, and wastewater teams. You will plan budgets, set priorities, and ensure safe, compliant operations including equipment repair and preventive maintenance programs.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and attention to detail to maintain efficient, compliant, and safe facility operations across all utility systems.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams in a warehouse setting.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize preventive maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Plans and budgets annual maintenance expenditures and tracks variances.
• Sets work priorities and schedules repair, maintenance, and installation activities.
• Designs and implements preventive maintenance programs using reports and statistics.
• Ensures OSHA and PSM compliance and safe operating conditions.
• Oversees repairs of handling equipment, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Develops energy plans and long-term facility improvements with the Maintenance Manager.
