Job Summary

As a Healthcare Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Developing project scope and budget
2. Creating consultant scope of work documents
3. Preparing and issuing RFPs/Bid Packages to consultants and contractors
4. Performing bid reviews and selecting vendors
5. Facilitating contract execution between vendors and the owner, including understanding contract terms and conditions
6. Leading all pre-construction activities such as studies, testing, cost estimating, and design
7. Ensuring facility design standards are maintained
8. Performing technical reviews of designs to ensure quality, maintainability, and scope alignment with approved budgets
9. Confirming vendors are prequalified for safety, financial, and technical qualifications
10. Preparing and processing documentation for PO’s & CO’s
11. Coordinating construction activities among project managers, plant personnel, and contractors
12. Facilitating contractor and consultant access
13. Managing all financial aspects of projects including budgets, commitments, and actuals
14. Reviewing and approving payment applications
15. Maintaining change order logs
16. Assisting with system and equipment identification
17. Tracking equipment deliveries and inventory
18. Issuing construction notices for FA & Security
19. Facilitating internal construction permits such as PIRA, ICRA, ILSM, Above Ceiling & Hot Work
20. Retaining and coordinating services of inspectors and expediters
21. Ensuring signage and permits are maintained at construction sites
22. Coordinating pedestrian closures and access badges for contractors
23. Managing lock-out/tag-out procedures and coordinating testing and balancing activities
24. Maintaining and tracking punch lists and close-out documentation
25. Organizing and archiving construction documents

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering highly preferred
• Minimum of five years construction project management experience required
• Healthcare project management experience is preferred
• Strong knowledge of engineering, construction principles, applicable laws, and management practices
