Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Facilities Project Manager in Mahwah, New Jersey to lead and support capital and operational projects affecting site infrastructure, utilities, equipment moves, and building systems. The role requires coordinating with Operations, Engineering, Quality, EHS, and vendors to deliver on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, 5+ years of project delivery experience in facilities or regulated environments, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, facilities management, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of related experience delivering facilities, infrastructure, utility, construction, or equipment installation projects.
• Experience managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, contractors, and stakeholder communication.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and building infrastructure systems preferred.
• Experience planning construction activities, shutdowns, and turnover in manufacturing or regulated environments preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Project or similar scheduling tools; strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support projects involving site infrastructure, utilities, equipment moves, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, with minimal disruption to operations.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders, contractors, and authorities from concept through closeout.
• Develop scope, estimates, schedules, budgets, and risk registers; manage procurement plans and change logs.
• Ensure complete project closeout with as-built drawings and manuals.
