The role requires a four-year degree and 3+ years managing design/construction projects, with strong negotiation and contract administration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in project or construction management, engineering, architecture or related field with 3 years post-academic experience.
• Demonstrated estimating experience and understanding of project delivery systems.
• Ability to administer contracts and construction documents.
• Strong organizational and workload balancing skills.
• Professional licensure preferred; PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional engineering and architectural oversight, construction industry procurement, and overall real property stewardship.
• Leads project objectives that have low to medium risk, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Leads budgeting and scheduling, and develops implementation plans.
• Supervises staff from Mayo departments, external consultants, and contractor resources.
• Collaborates across Mayo Clinic departments and manages design and construction phases.
• Addresses user group needs during design and construction; may provide off-hours oversight.
