Job summary

Fairfax County is seeking a Facilities Project Manager who will administer blanket purchase order maintenance and repair contracts and assist or perform construction or maintenance project management duties on various small projects. You will plan, monitor, schedule, and coordinate contractors delivering renovation, repair or preventive maintenance work.

A procurement card is required and policies must be followed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a listed field plus one year of related experience.
• Five years of supervision/contract oversight experience can qualify via the bridge class path.

Responsibilities

• Administers blanket purchase order maintenance and repair contracts.
• Plans, monitors, schedules, coordinates and the work of contractors on renovation, repair or preventive maintenance projects.
• Uses a procurement card and adheres to all related policies and procedures.
