Job summary

XLA is seeking a Project Manager to support our DEA client on-site in Arlington, Virginia. The role requires local candidates and Federal office environment experience, with a focus on managing facility projects, budgets, and relocations.

Candidates must be eligible for a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and be able to coordinate with GSA, landlords, and field offices across projects. This is a full-time, onsite position in a federal setting.

Qualifications

• Eligible for a U.S. Security Clearance to be considered.
• Experience managing large government facility projects.
• Ability to work onsite in Arlington, VA five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the facility project manager for centrally managed activities and full PM functions.
• Oversees project budgets and reviews funding proposals for new or renovated facilities.
• Evaluates and resolves problems with wide impact on major procurements.
• Provides facilities services to Domestic Field offices for repairs and upgrades at the Arlington location.
• Coordinates surveys with GSA, Security Officer, and local government reps for future relocations.
• Coordinates inspections of new construction and renovations across field offices.
• Prepares space utilization layouts and CAD drawings for telecom, furniture, electrical, and equipment.
• Reviews design criteria to ensure alignment with requirements.
• Develops milestones, cost estimates, and project schedules.
• Determines technical requirements and design specs for space needs.
• Manages landlord/contractor/GSA communications and occupancy agreements.
