Job summary

Watershed Foods is seeking a Facilities Project Manager in Gridley, IL. The role blends hands-on maintenance (60%) with project management and vendor coordination (40%).

You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient operation of facility systems while delivering projects on time and within budget. The position requires extensive experience in facilities maintenance and construction within manufacturing settings, with strong vendor management and regulatory knowledge, including

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facilities maintenance or technical experience.
• 5+ years of experience supporting or managing construction or facility projects.
• Experience in manufacturing, food production, or industrial environments preferred.
• Construction experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on maintenance and repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems.
• Monitor and maintain utilities: lighting, heating, cooling, water systems.
• Inspections to identify safety hazards and compliance risks.
• Coordinate project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Source and manage contractors/vendors; oversee performance and safety.
