Job summary

Watershed Foods in Gridley, IL is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across the manufacturing facility.

You will work with the Maintenance team to maximize uptime, support continuous improvement, and ensure safe operation of motors, drives, and controls. Overseeing preventive maintenance and adherence to LOTO and Arc Flash policies, you’ll play a key role in plant reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred.
• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Arc Flash training preferred.
• Working knowledge of NEC standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, conduit, and components.
• Run, bend, and install rigid, EMT, and flexible conduit for equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, motor controls, sensors, relays, and breakers.
• Diagnose and replace AC motors, VFDs, and control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize reliability and reduce downtime.
• Follow safety policies including LOTO and Arc Flash.
• Participate in weekend work and on-call schedules as needed.
