Job summary

The Huntington seeks a Facilities Project Manager to lead repairs, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades across campus. You will define scope, manage budgets and schedules, coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners, and ensure projects meet codes while minimizing disruption to operations.

This full-time, on-site role requires five years of facilities project experience, a relevant degree, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with MS

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing facilities-related projects (repairs, renovations, upgrades).
  • Experience coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors/contractors.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and technical documents.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with a proactive solutions orientation.
  • Understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety).

Responsibilities

  • Develop project scopes and objectives with stakeholders.
  • Manage a portfolio of facilities projects and upgrades.
  • Develop and manage project budgets; track expenditures.
  • Create project schedules and minimize disruption to operations.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, and vendors.
  • Oversee procurement, bids, and contract administration.
  • Ensure compliance with codes and institutional standards.
  • Identify and manage project risks and impacts.
  • Review plans and technical documents for execution.
  • Coordinate activities in active environments with visitors and staff.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation and reporting.
  • Support continuous improvement of delivery processes.
