Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Athens, Georgia is seeking a Facilities Project Coordinator in the Building Construction Products division. The role involves maintaining and improving engineering processes in an operations environment, and leading facility projects including planning, purchasing, and quality assurance for projects.

This position is in the Athens Facilities Department and is a 1st shift role. Key qualifications include advanced proficiency in MS Office 365, one year of project leadership in

Qualifications

Must have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Planner, Project, etc.)
1 year of experience leading projects in an industrial environment
Knowledge of plant layouts/ability to read blueprints is a plus

Responsibilities

Track, evaluate and maintain records for contractors coming on site to keep us compliant with Avetta standards
Help with on boarding suppliers in the Avetta system
Perform pre, during and post assessments of work standards using the EHS handbook as a guide
Will lead projects for the facility department including planning, purchasing and quality assurance for projects
Experience in NextGen/Guided by
