Job summary

Seagate Technology is offering a Facilities Project Management & Engineering Internship at our Longmont campus in Colorado. You will work alongside Facilities professionals, maintenance technicians, and cross‑functional teams on projects and operations that support workplace experience.

Gain hands-on experience in facilities project management, procurement, contract management, space planning, and building systems while learning Seagate policies and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Facilities/Construction/Engineering/PM or related field and returning to school in Fall 2027.
• Experience with project management coursework, internships, or related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, coordinating, and tracking facilities projects from initiation through completion.
• Support project scope development, budgeting, scheduling, documentation, status reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• Help identify project risks, track decisions and action items, and support timely project execution.
• Assist with development and administration of Statements of Work (SOWs) and facilities contracts.
• Support procurement activities and purchase requisitions etc.
• Gather and analyze facility, supplier, project, financial, and operational data to support decisions.
• Review facility drawings and documents using AutoCAD/Bluebeam.
• Collaborate with EHS, Security, IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, and other stakeholders.
