Acme Brick Company seeks a dedicated Project Engineer to provide engineering design, specifications, and technical services to Production. The role requires someone who can adapt to diverse tasks, support operations, and drive efficiency while maintaining a positive work environment.

The ideal candidate will manage capital projects, supervise contractors, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and deliver cost estimates and contract documents.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Facilities Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is beneficial.
• Similar degree or experience considered.

Aufgaben

• Review, modify, and approve engineering drawings for facility renovations, expansions and system upgrades.
• Serve as the primary project engineer for capital improvement projects and supervise contractors.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, OSHA, fire safety and environmental laws.
• Perform technical design tasks and project research.
• Prepare opinions of probable cost, construction specs and contract documents.
• Read and interpret technical documents.
• Handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Develop scopes and RFQ packages and oversee construction once approved.
