Motive Companies, LLC in Carson City, NV is seeking a hands-on Facilities Project Engineer to lead BIM-based facility upgrades and capital projects. This role offers a 4-day work week with Fridays and weekends off, plus the opportunity to help modernize aerospace manufacturing facilities near Lake Tahoe.

You will develop and maintain BIM models, coordinate contractors, and drive project scopes, budgets, and schedules using Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or 5 years of equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of 3D modeling and BIM experience in construction or facilities management.
• Legally authorized to access ITAR-controlled data under U.S. regulations.
• 1–3 years of project management experience in manufacturing or construction.
• Strong proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary BIM models and performing clash detection.
• Knowledge of MEP systems, construction processes, building codes, and facility infrastructure.

We're looking for a hands-on Facilities Project Engineer who enjoys combining engineering design, 3D modeling, and project management to improve and modernize manufacturing facilities. Job Requirements What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or 5 years of equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of 3D modeling and BIM experience in construction or facilities management.
• Are you legally authorized to access ITAR-controlled technical data under U.S. export control regulations, either as a U.S. person or through an applicable government authorization?
• 1–3 years of project management experience in manufacturing or construction.
• Strong proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary BIM models and performing clash detection.
• Knowledge of MEP systems, construction processes, building codes, and facility infrastructure.

Preferred Experience Experience with 6D BIM, COBie, CMMS/BMS/SCADA integration, digital twin technology, manufacturing facility capital projects, and OSHA, NFPA, EPA, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or AS9100 standards. Autodesk Revit certification, AGC BIM certification, or OSHA 30 is a plus.
