Job summary

PopStroke is hiring a Facilities Porter to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming venue for guests. You will inspect facilities, clean restrooms and dining areas, and help with trash removal alongside a hands-on team. The position requires weekend and holiday availability and comfort working in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Pay range is $18–$22 per hour for a non-exempt role. Candidates should be detail-oriented, able to operate cleaning equipment safely, and collaborate effectively with

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities or janitorial roles.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Experience safely handling and working with cleaning products and chemicals.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and landscaping requirements.
• Clean and sanitize various areas of the venue, including restrooms, dining areas, golf courses, and kitchen spaces.
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste.
• Maintain all areas in a safe and clean condition by sweeping, mopping, deck brushing, dusting, and pressure washing.
• Monitor inventor of and replenish supplies.
• Report any maintenance needs and hazards to a supervisor immediately.
• Complete maintenance checklists.
• Assist with storm preparedness and recovery tasks.
• Remove trash, safely operate a trash compactor, and ensure cleanliness of the trash compactor area.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for guests and employees.
• Assist with special tasks and projects.
• Work in both an indoor and outdoor environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
