Job summary

PopStroke is hiring a Facilities Porter to keep our venues safe, spotless, and welcoming for guests. You’ll be hands-on, performing inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance to ensure everything runs smoothly and looks inviting.

This non-exempt, hourly role pays $16–$18 per hour. The position requires availability on weekends and holidays and will operate in both indoor and outdoor environments at our venues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a facilities or janitorial role.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Experience safely handling and working with cleaning products and chemicals.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and landscaping requirements.
• Clean and sanitize various areas of the venue, including restrooms, dining areas, golf courses, and kitchen spaces.
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste.
• Maintain all areas in a safe and clean condition by sweeping, mopping, deck brushing, dusting, and pressure washing.
• Monitor inventory and replenish supplies.
• Report any maintenance needs and hazards to a supervisor immediately.
• Complete maintenance checklists.
• Assist with storm preparedness and recovery tasks.
• Remove trash, safely operate a trash compactor, and ensure cleanliness of the trash compactor area.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for guests and employees.
• Assist with special tasks and projects.
• Work in both an indoor and outdoor environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
