Job summary

PopStroke is seeking a Facilities Porter to maintain a safe, clean, and guest-ready venue. You will inspect facilities, clean restrooms, dining areas, and outdoor spaces, manage waste, and assist with storms and special projects.

Role requires weekend and holiday availability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while communicating well with the team. Pay is $16–$18 per hour, non-exempt.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities or janitorial role.
• Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Experience safely handling cleaning products and chemicals.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities for maintenance needs, safety hazards, and landscaping.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, dining areas, golf courses, and kitchen spaces.
• Empty trash and ensure proper waste disposal.
• Maintain clean and safe conditions by sweeping, mopping, brushing, dusting, and pressure washing.
• Monitor inventory and replenish supplies.
• Report maintenance needs to a supervisor.
• Complete maintenance checklists.
• Assist with storm preparedness and recovery tasks.
• Remove trash and operate a trash compactor safely.
• Follow safety protocols for a safe workplace.
• Assist with special tasks and projects.
• Work both indoors and outdoors.
• Other duties as assigned.
