LV Petroleum LLC in Mount Vernon, MO is seeking a motivated Porter to keep our facilities clean and welcoming for clients and staff. You will perform daily cleaning, restrooms, and event setup, with light maintenance support.

The position offers a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays, and opportunities to contribute to a well-maintained, safe environment for visitors and employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in janitorial or custodian work is advantageous.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to cleanliness standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility in schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors in various areas of the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms and public spaces to provide a comfortable environment for everyone.
• Assist with the removal of trash and recycling, ensuring proper disposal methods are followed.
• Support minor maintenance and repair tasks as needed, reporting any significant issues to the supervisor.
• Help set up and take down equipment for events or meetings, ensuring that all areas are arranged properly.
• Monitor and maintain janitorial supplies, notifying management of low inventory.
• Provide excellent customer service by being friendly and assisting guests with inquiries.
