Job summary

LV Petroleum LLC, located in Mount Vernon, MO, seeks a motivated Porter to keep facilities clean and welcoming for clients and staff. You will perform daily cleaning and assist with setup for events, contributing to a safe, tidy environment.

Responsibilities include floors, restrooms, break rooms, trash removal, light maintenance, and stocking supplies, with a strong emphasis on courteous guest assistance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior janitorial or custodian experience is advantageous.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as with a team.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors in various areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and public spaces.
• Assist with trash and recycling removal with proper disposal.
• Support minor maintenance and report significant issues to supervisor.
• Set up and take down equipment for events or meetings; ensure area is arranged properly.
• Monitor and maintain janitorial supplies; notify management of low inventory.
• Provide excellent customer service by being friendly and assisting guests.
