Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Facilities Plant Maintenance Specialist to support the Advanced Composites Center in Hazelwood, MO! The Aerospace Composites Center has state-of-the-art enabled capabilities and operates to support Boeing’s Fighter Programs.

The Facilities Plant Maintenance Specialist will handle all preventive maintenance planning and scheduling for the site as they implement a new robust maintenance system at ACC called Maximo. The system tracks all scheduling for preventative maintenance on machines and facilities as well as scheduling / process work order tickets and data analytics tied to work order completion and machine downtime for the maintenance department.

Position Responsibilities:

• General knowledge of building codes, regulations and safety procedures and is able to read more complex blueprints
• Responds to trouble calls and resolves a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
• Is able to interpret basic schematics and diagrams
• May provide guidance to less experienced employees
• Under general guidance, reviews customer requirements and may evaluate product capabilities
• Has demonstrated knowledge of the use of a variety of hand and power tools
• May receive specialized equipment training
• May provide training to peers and/or customers on the general use of equipment

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years’ experience with Facilities Project Management or Construction Management
• 3+ years of experience working with detailed work instructions or reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings
• Experience performing plant and/or production equipment maintenance
• Experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience using Maximo or other Computerized Maintenance Software Systems
• Previous experience in facilities construction implementation, including developing project requirements, design and constructability reviews and negotiating construction documents
• Experience with AutoCAD or a similar CAD package
• Experience completing installations and repairs that may involve such skills as electrical, mechanical, HVAC and plumbing
• Experience working in a fast paced customer service related environment, with the ability to quickly respond to trouble calls and resolve a variety of problems

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $56,950 - $77,050 USD
