Job summary

Shocco Springs Baptist Conference Center Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician – Painter to keep our buildings and equipment at high standards of excellence. You will work under general supervision to protect interior and exterior surfaces across the Shocco Springs facility.

Responsibilities include painting, drywall work, minor repairs, and maintaining an organized inventory of materials. A strong safety mindset and clear communication with staff are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of painting and drywall methods, materials, and tools.
• Ability to apply paints, hang and finish drywall, fill holes, tape, float, and texture surfaces.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to communicate with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building exteriors and interiors, trims, and fixtures across the facility.
• Assist with maintenance and facility repairs as assigned.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks per the Preventative Maintenance Manual.
• Maintain organized inventory of maintenance supplies and tools.
• Promote a safe working environment in line with OSHA standards.
• Accept miscellaneous assignments from supervisor.
