Job summary

The City of Peoria, AZ, is seeking a maintenance professional to support facilities such as parks and the MLB spring training complex. This role covers HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks across multiple sites.

Ideal candidates will have 4–6 years of experience in similar roles, a valid Class D driver’s license, and EPA Universal Certification. DPW benefits and a structured work environment are offered.

4-6 years of experience in the same or similar positions.

Support the maintenance operations of multiple facilities within the department, including the City Parks and the Major League spring training complex for visiting teams.
Perform skilled preventative maintenance and repairs on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing and related systems across multi-site facilities.

Hiring Rate: $34.48/hr - $38.57/hr DOE

The purpose of this position is to support the maintenance operations of multiple facilities within the department, to include the City Parks and the Major League spring training complex for the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners. These operations include maintenance of all plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and electrical systems for parks facilities.

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience with:

Performing skilled preventative maintenance and repairs on all heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment.
Installing, troubleshooting and repairing components of electrical, electronic, and mechanical problems in complex, multi-site systems to component level.
Commercial plumbing maintenance and repair.
Working in a work-order-driven environment.
