Job summary

Sevier County Sheriff's Office in Sevierville, TN, is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Technician to keep our Administrative Building, Training Facility, and Special Operations Center clean, safe, and functional. The role covers custodial tasks, minor repairs, grounds care, and support for events, with a focus on reliability, integrity, and customer service.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid TN driver's license, reliable transportation, and be able to travel weekly

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid Tennessee Driver License required.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Ability to travel weekly between Sheriff's Office facilities.
Basic hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, socket set, hammer, tape measure, utility knife, cordless drill) required.
Must pass criminal background check, drug screen, and pre-employment physical.

Responsibilities

Perform daily custodial and maintenance duties to keep facilities clean and safe.
Maintain landscaping and grounds around facilities.
Assist with special events and facility projects.
Record maintenance logs and coordinate with contractors.
Help with inventory and supplies management.
