Job summary

Provincial Senior Living is seeking a Facility Operations Assistant to support maintenance, safety and resident comfort across communities. You will handle routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and floor care, while assisting with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and emergency readiness.

The role emphasizes teamwork, independence, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Technical school education preferred as supporting credential.
• Basic technical knowledge across HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents, guests and team members.
• Perform routine maintenance to complete service requests for repair of grounds, buildings, equipment and vehicles.
• Assist in the preventative maintenance program.
• Work on heating/air conditioning, water systems, pumps, refrigeration, motors, electrical systems and generators.
• Perform carpet and hard surface floor maintenance.
• Deep cleaning and making resident suites ready as assigned.
• Assist with Fire Safety and Disaster Preparedness Evacuation procedures.
