Job summary

Navigant Credit Union is seeking a Facilities Specialist to manage interior and exterior maintenance across multiple locations in Rhode Island. You will perform custodial duties, upkeep, and support for Records Retention with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role includes event setup, supply management, and liaison with a 3rd party vendor for records destruction; occasional travel between branches is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have valid driver's license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to lift boxes up to 60 lbs.
• Must have strong service orientation in alignment with the credit union's mission and core values.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and produce an effective outcome is required.
• Must have the ability to use Microsoft Outlook and the Internet to perform job-related tasks.
• Excellent organizational ability and time management skills required.
• Travel required between branches as part of duties.

Responsibilities

• Ensures inside and outside of facilities are clear of trash and debris; maintains parking lots and snow/ice removal.
• Replaces light bulbs, moves furniture, relocates records, and sets up rooms for meetings; maintains inventory of supplies.
• Monitors the HQ building and grounds daily to maintain safety, security, and cleanliness.
• Completes room and equipment set-up for events and meetings.
• Supports back-office supplies and ordering across the Credit Union.
• Maintains Records Retention and Destruction Policy under guidance; coordinates with 3rd party vendor.
• Oversees shredding at Corporate Center; liaises with 3rd party vendor.
• Performs courier duties; travels branch to branch for maintenance tasks and internal mail transport.
• Performs other facilities and/or clerical duties as assigned.
