UNC Asheville is seeking a Manager Building Operations and Maintenance to oversee Trades Departments including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry/Roofing, and related teams. You will direct workflow, plan projects, and administer state service contracts to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with several years of supervisory experience in trades, with strong leadership, budgeting, and CMMS proficiency.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalency and three years of experience in trade(s) areas assigned; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Preferred candidate has 6-8 years of supervisory experience in one or more physical plant trades including HVAC, mechanical, power generation, plumbing, electrical, carpentry; or equivalent field experience.
• Advanced technical knowledge in at least one trade and proficiency with CMMS, blueprint reading, and basic thermo-dynamics.

Responsabilidades

• Manage ongoing operations for various Trades Departments in Campus Operations.
• Plan and execute small to medium size projects and administer State service contracts.
• Direct, coordinate and balance the work-flow of the shops and three shop Team Leaders.
• Set short- and long-term goals, develop in-house standards, and manage CMMS-driven maintenance programs.
