Job summary

Friend Health is seeking a Facilities Specialist to maintain safe, efficient facilities across all locations. You will perform routine maintenance, coordinate vendor work, monitor projects, and ensure documentation is complete and up-to-date while supporting regulatory compliance and a patient-friendly environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

GED or High School Diploma required; some college preferred.
3-5 years of equivalent work experience in a similar position.
Valid Driver's License required.
HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing certifications a plus.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and customer service with staff.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, flooring, and building systems.
Conduct routine facility inspections for safety and operational deficiencies.
Coordinate vendor site visits and bids; monitor performance and close out projects.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and asset inventories.
Support safety inspections and regulatory compliance efforts.
Provide professional communication to staff and minimize disruption to patient care.
