Job summary

Vanderbilt University seeks a Senior Coordinator of Facilities and Operations to oversee operations for Student Centers and related facilities. You will coordinate procurement, budgeting, and billing while guiding student staff and coordinating with Plant Operations and Campus Planning.

The role emphasizes customer service, organizational excellence, and strategic management of digital platforms and space usage data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• At least three years of related experience in business operations, event services or facilities.
• Proven customer service and project management experience.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task; excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and EMS.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Procurement requestor and One Card holder for the department.
• Assist with budget review and analysis on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Lead internal/external billing processes and train staff on billing procedures.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and capital improvements for facilities.
• Manage relationships with external vendors providing furniture/services.
