Qualifications

• High school or trade school graduate.
• Minimum 3 years overseeing technicians and/or contractor personnel in a research, not-for-profit, educational, or governmental facility.
• Ability to develop and manage budgets and coordinate with service partners.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills; knowledge of union environments a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure efficient, high-quality services and model OHSU values.
• Lead weekly team meetings and coordinate with other units and service providers.
• Monitor contracted services and ensure high-quality project completion.
• Manage maintenance and operations to comply with NIH and local codes; oversee performance and safety.
• Develop and review budgets and reporting metrics.
