Job summary

Cedar Creek and Belle Grove National Historic Park is seeking a Facilities Operations Specialist to manage preventative and operations maintenance for park structures, vehicles, trails, signs, and assets. You will oversee vendors, evaluate work, and help maintain asset databases and work orders.

You will develop and track project proposals, funding, and progress while contributing to a park-wide safety program and day-to-day operations planning as part of the management team.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining park facilities and assets.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and budgets.
• Experience supervising contractors and evaluating work quality.
• Knowledge of safety programs and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform and procure services for preventative and operations maintenance of structures, vehicles, trails, signs, and other facility assets.
• Oversee park vendors/contractors, evaluating work and providing feedback and corrective actions.
• Maintain park facility asset databases to develop maintenance plans and track work orders.
• Develop project proposals and track progress, including funding and milestones.
• Develop and implement a parkwide safety program.
• Participate in the park management team and help develop day-to-day operations and annual work plans.
