Job summary

Valleyfair LLC seeks a Director of Maintenance and Construction to lead park-wide maintenance, safety, and facilities initiatives. You will translate corporate strategy into decisive local action, balancing reliability with cost performance while shaping culture across the maintenance division.

As a senior leader, you will drive continuous improvement, manage capital projects, and partner with engineering, architects, and contractors to enhance park assets and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 7+ years in progressive leadership within maintenance.
• Valid driver's license required.
• AIMS/NAARSO certifications preferred.
• Strong executive communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven track record in project management within budget.
• Experience hiring and developing senior leaders.
• Customer-focused mindset supporting guests and associates.
• Data-driven with analytics, reporting and KPIs.
• Leadership presence with accountability and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Sets expectations and directs maintenance activities across park and attractions.
• Fosters Associate Experience and a culture of communication and ownership.
• Leads resolution of complex maintenance challenges with partners and vendors.
• Oversees operating budget and capital projects alignment with goals.
• Partners with corporate engineering and local architects on property enhancements.
• Implements continuous improvements, reports KPIs for asset performance.
