Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of building services experience.
• License: stationary engineer's license preferred.
• Knowledge of boilers, HVAC equipment, and facilities systems.
• Ability to perform strenuous manual tasks and lift moderate to heavy objects.
• US citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Leads and oversees building service workers; trains staff and provides guidance.
• Cleans and maintains floors, bathrooms, desks, and office equipment.
• Operates HVAC equipment; inspects boilers and related systems; maintains logs.
• Performs preventive maintenance and minor repairs; changes filters and lubricates components.
• Responds to custodial requests; prepares for events and moves furniture as needed.
• Ensures safety and security standards; checks doors/windows and sanitizes spaces.
• Inspects facility; manages supplies; orders replacements and materials.
• Assists in deliveries, setup of chairs/tables, and event support.
• Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and submits work orders as required.
