SUNY Brockport is seeking a Facility Operations Assistant 1 to perform routine maintenance, repair tasks, and grounds upkeep for REOC and surrounding areas. The role includes event setup, loading and unloading equipment, cleaning, and operating basic tools and powered equipment.

Ideal candidates will have flexibility, physical stamina, and the ability to understand instructions. The position emphasizes reliable attendance and the ability to work independently as part of a facilities team.

Formación

• HVAC experience preferred.
• HVAC training preferred.
• Basic electrical, plumbing and mechanical knowledge helpful.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.
• Excellent time and attendance record expected.
• Must be physically able to perform duties as outlined.

Responsabilidades

• Set up chairs, podiums, and equipment for events.
• Move, load, unload, and assemble furniture and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks.
• Clean and maintain REOC facility and restrooms.
• Travel to other offices to pick up or move equipment if needed.
• Perform grounds maintenance and snow removal as required.
