Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Facility Manager/Director to oversee daily operations of the maintenance function at a single installation. You will lead a team, manage inspections, and ensure assets are well kept to deliver safe, comfortable living environments.

The role requires strong supervisory experience, HVAC knowledge, bid management, budgeting and excellent communication. You will partner with military executives and project teams to meet maintenance goals within budget, while

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Proficient in bid management, forecasting, budget preparation and financial management.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, Excel and Yardi preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, financial reporting, training and development of employees.
• Inspect properties to ensure proper maintenance of assets.
• Forecast maintenance needs and manage time for personnel to meet goals.
• Monitor safety programs and implement improvements as needed.
• Lead a team of maintenance professionals to achieve operational goals.
