Saks Fifth Avenue is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to oversee minor maintenance tasks and coordinate major repairs for our store. You will open work orders, maintain checklists, and support floor moves and appearances as directed by Store Management.

The role requires at least 1 year in facilities operations, the ability to work independently, strong organizational skills, basic computer know-how, and business sense.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate General Facilities activities for the entire physical plant.
• Supervise renovations and remodels.
• Manage in store workers contacted from NG&G.
• Maintain lighting and ballast supplies and perform bulb changes.
• Supervise housekeeping staff to maintain store standards.
• Conduct facilities audits and inspections.
• Perform store opening duties (lights, HVAC, escalators, doors).
• Perform POS / scanner repairs and basic maintenance.
• Touch up painting and repairs to fixtures, flooring, doors.
• Respond to store emergency calls and monitor trash hauling.
• Maintain and track work orders and purchase orders; issue work orders as needed.
• Coordinate contract labor (HVAC, vertical transport, glass services).
• Coordinate IT repairs and certificates of insurance.
• Develop inspection checklists and liaise with Property Management.

The coordinator maintains checklists, opens work orders and files records on the facility.
