Responsibilities

The DataCenter Service / Datacenter Cloud System (DCS) team sits within TikTok's global technology structure and supports the company's fast growth by building and operating hyper-scale datacenters, managing the life cycle of server fleet, providing cloud solutions, and developing various infrastructure services, making sure they are scalable and are reliable.

The Facility Operations Excellence Engineer supports the implementation of Facility Operations Excellence initiatives across the global data center region. Working closely with the Global Facility Operations Excellence team, the role supports both global & regional projects, process standardization, operational data analysis, platform iterations, documentation, and continuous improvement activities.

The role also works with local Facility Management teams to support the implementation and adoption of regional standards and initiatives.

• Lead the standardization and continuous improvement of facility operational processes, procedures, and documentation.
• Support the delivery and implementation of projects assigned by the Global Facility Operations Excellence team across AMER, APAC, EMEA.
• Collect, consolidate, and analyze facility operational data to support performance tracking and improvement initiatives.
• Maintain operational reports, dashboards, trackers, and documentation related to Facility Operations Excellence activities.
• Coordinate with regional Facility Managers and Facility Management Technicians to support project implementation, data collection, and follow-up actions.
• Track project actions, milestones, and deliverables and provide regular status updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Support the rollout of global Facility Operations Excellence standards and initiatives across global sites w/ counterparts.
• Identify operational gaps and improvement opportunities and support the implementation of agreed solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in facility operations, data center operations, center of excellence, or a related field.
• Led initiatives from 0 to 1 and successfully implemented it at global scale
• Experience working with operational data, reporting, documentation, and process improvement.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and common office/document collaboration tools.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across multiple locations.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certified
• Experience in data center or mission-critical facility operations.
• Experience with Facility Management processes, operational standards, or continuous improvement.
• Experience with DCIM, CMMS, ticketing, monitoring, or facility management platforms.
• Experience supporting regional or global projects and working with geographically distributed teams.
• Project management experience or relevant certification.
• Experience working with a Global Operations Excellence or similar central function.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $108000 - $208800 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others.
