Blue Origin LLC is seeking an entry-level Facilities Mechanical Engineer I to support the design of new infrastructure and buildings under supervision. You will help produce drawings, plans, and specifications while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet project goals.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree and FE exam, with ambition to obtain a Professional Engineer license. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is expected, and BIM/sustainable design experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• FE exam passed and intent to obtain PE license.
• Strong mechanical design fundamentals and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit for design documentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with BIM and sustainable design is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the design of new infrastructure and buildings under licensed engineer guidance.
• Assist in creating design and construction documents, including drawings and specs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align designs with project goals.
• Conduct research and support for mechanical design concepts (HVAC, chilled water, compressed air).
• Prepare and review mechanical drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Support project schedules, budgets, and resource coordination.
• Mentor junior engineers and pursue PE licensure after gaining experience.
