Seagate Technology is hiring for a Building Mechanic & Gas Delivery Technician III on the 2nd shift to support Toxic Gas Monitoring Systems and gas delivery operations. The role blends mechanical maintenance with specialized gas monitoring tasks, contributing to safety and reliability across a large, 24/7 facility.

The position requires 4–5 years with GMS/TGM, strong safety and regulatory experience, and a willingness to work Tue–Sat, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 4–5 years of Toxic Gas Monitoring Systems (GMS/TGM) experience.
• 4 years of experience with safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and facility maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• HAZWOPER training required or able to be trained.
• Willing to work 2nd shift, Tue–Sat, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM.

Responsabilités

• Respond to in-house mechanical emergency service calls and perform repairs throughout the facility.
• Perform general building maintenance including mechanical repairs, plumbing, and facility support work.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and building support systems.
• Perform predictive and preventive maintenance on compressors, vacuum systems, pumps, and related equipment.
• Support manufacturing and engineering teams with installation, modification, and repair of production equipment.
