Job summary

Beauty Manufacturing Solutions Corp. is seeking a Facilities Mechanic III to perform preventive and routine maintenance on facility and compounding equipment, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and improve equipment reliability in a fast-growing personal care products manufacturer. Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, including electrical troubleshooting and PLCs, and can read drawings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• 2 years of electrical troubleshooting and PLCs, knowledge of electrical controls, VFDs, servos, HMIs, and reading electrical prints.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs facility and compounding equipment.
• Repairs, installs, and adjusts industrial machinery such as compounding vessels, pumps, grinders, mixers, air compressors, boilers, chillers, vacuum system, dust collection systems, and HVAC.
• Troubleshoots and repairs pneumatic switches, valves, and cylinders.
• Diagnoses and repairs gear boxes, motors, bearings, and conveyor system problems.
• Installs and sets up new equipment to include electrical, air, and ventilation as needed.
• Repairs, replaces and maintains drywall, flooring, ceiling tiles, leaks, plumbing, and other facility maintenance tasks as needed.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance.
• Responds to work order requests in a timely fashion.
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to, Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) (ensuring machinery is off before performing maintenance or repair), hot work, confined spaces work, use of powered industrial machines, etc.
• Trouble shoots electrical (relay logic PLCs), general building electrical systems, and mechanical systems.
