Job summary

Trinityhealth in Eddy Village Green, Cohoes, NY, is seeking a Facilities Mechanic II for a full-time day shift. The role maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and installs HVAC equipment and related systems across the facility, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliable operation to support patient care and daily operations.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED; HVAC certification is preferred. 2–3 years of HVAC maintenance experience and strong diagnostic skills are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and appliance maintenance and repair.

Facilities Mechanic II

Full Time - Days

Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and minor installation of HVAC-related equipment throughout the facility. Ensures all building systems, equipment, and grounds are maintained in a safe, efficient, and operational condition.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Technical certification in HVAC, Mechanical Maintenance, or a related field preferred.

Experience Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of experience in the commercial HVAC field.
• Hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and appliance maintenance and repair.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Move furniture and equipment to support facility operations.

Pay Rate

$19.95-$30.92
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location
