Job summary

Exelon is seeking a building maintenance technician to operate, install, and maintain components of building systems including electrical, HVAC, and related controls. The role requires attention to safety standards and the ability to work with limited supervision.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 3+ years' experience with building systems, strong communication, and CMMS familiarity (Maximo preferred). A valid CDL and pre-employment screenings may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in operation, repair and maintenance of building structures and building systems equipment.
• Must communicate well with supervision, peers and clients.
• Must be able to complete testing associated with this position as a pre-requisite for employment.
• Must be able to work independently with a minimum of supervision and guidance.
• Must be available for emergency response callouts.
• Shift work may be required.
• Knowledge of CMMS such as Maximo desirable.
• Computer skills.
• Valid Driver's license with ability to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle and maintain a Driver Qualification File.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol test(s), background check(s) and physicals.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to analyze problems with equipment within defined skills and repair/test results with or without direct supervision.
• Employees may be required to work various shifts as determined by the schedule.
