Job summary

Harbor Foodservice of Seattle LLC seeks an experienced facilities maintenance technician to repair and maintain building and equipment at the Kent facility. The role supports a range of trades, from welding and electrical work to carpentry and plumbing.

You will monitor safety, operate power tools, and collaborate with outside vendors on sprinkler systems and larger projects. The position emphasizes hands-on maintenance with a pay range of $28–$36/hr and solid benefits.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Well-rounded skills in maintenance, welding, electrical, plumbing and woodworking.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the safe operation of all warehouse and office equipment, such as doors, dock levelers, HVAC, lighting and warehouse racking.
• Assist other Facilities mechanics as needed for various maintenance projects.
• Perform remodeling projects including repairing sheet rock, painting, framing; carpenter skills are a plus.
• Monitor electrical equipment and repair or replace as needed for safe operation.
• Maintain the fire sprinkler system with outside vendor support.
• Other duties including welding and fabricating projects.

Overview

Repair and maintain building and equipment at the Kent facility.

The pay range is between $ 28.00 per hour and $ 36 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the safe operation of all warehouse and office equipment, such as: warehouse dock doors, dock levelers, HVAC, lighting and warehouse racking.
• Assist other Facilities mechanics as needed for various maintenance projects.
• Various remodeling projects, including repairing sheet rock, painting, framing. Carpenter skill set a plus.
• Monitor electrical equipment through warehouse and office work spaces. Repair or replace electrical equipment as needed for normal and safe operation.
• Monitor and maintain the safe and normal operation of the facilities fire sprinkler system with assistance from outside service vendors.
• Other responsibilities and duties as assigned including welding and fabricating projects.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Qualified individual will present well-rounded skills in maintenance, welding, electrical, plumbing and woodworking.
• Three (3) to five (5) years industrial experience preferred.
• Ability to operate power tools, use hand tools and drive forklift is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug test.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs. at times
• 80% of time on feet.
• Provide own hand tools.
