Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, seeks an experienced Facility Manager with FSO experience to oversee daily operation, maintenance, readiness, and security of a 5,000–10,000 square-foot facility supporting customer mission activities. The role includes personnel security, visitor control, and implementing government and corporate security requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in facility operations, vendor coordination, space management, and safety/compliance.

Qualifications

• 6 years relevant experience with Bachelor's in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation, maintenance, readiness, and professional appearance of the facility.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, fire/life-safety, security, and building systems.
• Serve as primary facility point of contact with property management, landlords, building engineers, utilities, contractors, vendors, and service providers.
• Conduct routine facility inspections to identify maintenance, safety, security, housekeeping, infrastructure, and operational deficiencies.
• Manage space utilization, workspace assignments, office configurations, storage areas, and common spaces.
• Plan and coordinate facility repairs, renovations, infrastructure improvements, and projects.
• Maintain inventory and accountability of facility furniture, equipment, IT devices, keys, access devices, and assigned property.
• Support facility budgets, expenditure tracking, forecasting, invoice validation, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, ADA, environmental, fire/life-safety, corporate, and government requirements.
• Support emergency preparedness, evacuation, continuity, and recovery planning.
