Job summary

EST Companies LLC is seeking a Facilities Manager in Douglas, United States to oversee the physical functionality, maintenance, efficiency, and safety of multiple locations. You will lead facility operations, coordinate vendors, and manage capital improvement projects with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.

The role requires 4–6 years in facilities management, OSHA knowledge, and strong project/vendor leadership. Travel up to 40% and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of commercial facilities maintenance/management experience; multi-location experience preferred.
• PMP or bachelor’s degree in facilities or construction management preferred.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing/piping, light construction, and general repairs.
• Strong project management and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and facility-related software.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, and planning skills.
• Ability to work independently in a rapidly evolving environment.
• Strong communication skills; personable, dependable, and self-motivated.
• Ability to travel up to 40%.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines; completion of required safety training certifications.
• Fluent in English; valid driver’s license with excellent driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain military base passes and other access credentials.

Responsibilities

• Facility Operations — Own daily physical operations of buildings and grounds to ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable work environments.
• Preventative & Predictive Maintenance — Develop, track, and perform maintenance programs; complete routine repairs and seasonal preparation.
• Quality Control & Safety — Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and industry standards.
• Vendor & Project Management — Schedule and coordinate inspections, emergency repairs, contracted services, and capital improvements such as office expansions and renovations.
• Security Systems Oversight — Manage access control, camera systems, and intrusion monitoring systems.
• Planning & Documentation — Create and update local facility maintenance, health, safety, and evacuation plans; maintain required reports and documentation.
