Job summary

Hounen Solar America Inc. seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance, compliance, and continuous improvement of the manufacturing facility's infrastructure and utility systems.

This role will manage facility operations, contractors, utility systems, regulatory compliance, and government-related matters to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. The candidate will lead the Facilities team, collaborate with Production, Engineering, EHS, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of facilities or industrial maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing facility utility systems and building infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, NEC, and industrial safety regulations.
• Experience managing contractors, vendors, and capital projects.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the facility and utility systems, including electrical distribution, HVAC, compressed air, chillers, cooling systems, water systems, and other plant infrastructure.
• Ensure facility equipment operates safely and reliably with minimal downtime.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for facility systems.
• Coordinate facility inspections, permits, and regulatory requirements.
• Support facility construction, expansion, equipment installation, and commissioning projects.
• Manage contractors and vendors to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Develop and manage facility operating budget.
• Oversee service contracts, preventive maintenance agreements, and contractor performance.
• Lead and develop the Facilities team.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, EHS, and Quality departments to support manufacturing operations.
