Job summary

C&W Services in Ohio seeks a Facility Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of assigned facilities, including life-safety systems, maintenance, and site services, ensuring safety and compliance.

You will manage contracts, budgets, vendor relations, and data reporting, travel between sites, lead a team, and drive continuous improvement while upholding the company’s safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• 5–7 years of facility maintenance or property management experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, FLS, and engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with CMMS systems.
• Solid vendor contract, SLAs, and compliance understanding.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license with travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Contract Management: Oversee all vendor and service contracts, ensuring regular review, competitive bidding, and invoice accuracy in alignment with contract pricing.
• Operational Oversight: Supervise maintenance programs related to interior and exterior conditions; ensure systems are functioning optimally and safely.
• Client & Tenant Relations: Respond promptly to client and occupant needs; oversee service delivery to ensure satisfaction and SLA compliance.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain site documentation, safety logs, compliance reports, manuals, and contract files.
• Financial Accountability: Prepare, review, and approve budgets, contracts, expenditures, and POs; monitor costs.
• Maintenance & Capital Planning: Coordinate HVAC and building systems maintenance; support five-year improvement strategies.
• Data & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report facility performance data.
• Team Development: Hire, train, and motivate facilities staff; foster safety-focused teamwork.
• Risk Management: Ensure vendors and tenants meet insurance requirements; coordinate claims as needed.
• Leadership: Model C&W Services values through proactive communication and operational excellence.
