Job summary

Analog Devices, in Chelmsford, MA, is seeking an organized facilities manager to lead maintenance staff and oversee daily operations. You will direct maintenance tasks, assess processes, and ensure safety while optimizing reliability and cost control.

The role requires a engineering background, 8+ years in maintenance planning, and strong leadership with excellent communication. On-site, Monday–Friday, with on-call support and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • US Citizenship Required
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ Years experience in planning maintenance operations
  • Solid understanding of technical aspects of mechanical and electrical systems etc.
  • Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
  • Ability to keep track of and report on activity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities

Responsibilities

  • Oversee, manage and direct all maintenance procedures and operations
  • Ensure all facilities infrastructure related equipment is up to working standards
  • Assess current maintenance work processes, to optimize efficiency
  • Manage proactively
  • Use data analysis to help prepare for and prevent future problems
  • Create and implement measures to minimize breakdowns and repairs
  • Troubleshoot problem areas and create a clear plan of action for fixing necessary parts
  • Oversee repairs
  • Train new employees in maintenance work processes and procedures
  • Mentor and coach employees on career planning and growth
  • Create a work environment with safety as a top priority
  • Perform evaluations of employees to ensure quality of work
  • Record and track daily progress/error reports
  • Lead root cause analysis activities on facilities related system failures
  • Maintain vendor relationships and order new materials as needed
  • Manage and adhere to maintenance budgets
  • Collaborate with management on capital spending
  • Enforce all health and safety rules and regulations
  • Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
  • Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
