Job summary

Cleveland Public Theatre (CPT) seeks a Facilities Manager to maintain a multi-building campus, oversee repairs, supervise staff, and coordinate vendors. The role blends planning with hands-on problem solving to keep spaces safe, functional, and welcoming for artists, staff, and community partners.

You will manage preventive maintenance, support CPT's major events, and ensure compliance with safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of facilities management experience or related work.
• Experience supervising employees, contractors, or project teams.
• Ability to coordinate maintenance, repairs, and vendor activities with clear follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, repairs, cleanliness, and daily function of CPT facilities.
• Develop preventive maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Hire, train, supervise, and support facilities and janitorial staff.
• Coordinate site needs for performances, rehearsals, rentals, and events.
