• Facilitate arrangements for special events scheduled for the facility.
• Coordinate external vendor/contractor services and building repairs as needed.
• Update and maintain the Redbook and emergency preparedness plans annually.
• Coordinate annual equipment inventory and related records.
• Oversee building renovation and construction projects.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

The Woodruff School graduates high caliber mechanical engineers for a demanding profession. Mechanical engineers are the foundation of today¿s technological world. Job Summary

Facilitate and coordinate building operations within an assigned facility. Includes coordination of building maintenance and repairs, office moves, delivery and installation of furniture and equipment., building access control, and deliveries. Serve as project manager for facility renovation and construction. This position will interact on a consistent basis with building occupants and visitors, department heads, contractors, and vendors. This position typically will advise and counsel: contractors, vendors, and visitors. This position may supervise: Assigned Staff

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -

Manage building maintenance functions (both routine and emergency); ensure activities are carried out in a complete and timely manner.

Job Duty 2 -

Arrange for office moves within facility; ensure they are carried out as scheduled

Job Duty 3 -

Coordinate delivery and installation of building equipment

Job Duty 4 -

Maintain building access control system including card entry and office key management

Job Duty 5 -

Facilitate arrangements of special events scheduled for facility

Job Duty 6 -

Coordinate outside vendor/contractor services; order building repair services as needed

Job Duty 7 -

Manage and update the Redbook and emergency preparedness plans annually, for facility and all related procedures

Coordinate annual equipment inventory and maintain related records
