Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Maintain building records and prepared reports/documentation.
  • Monitor and maintain building security and safe practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Summary

Coordinate building services within assigned facility(s) Services include general maintenance, safety, emergency preparedness, custodial, space planning, construction and preventive maintenance. Serve as resource for building users and third party vendors/external service providers. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: building tenants, building maintenance management and service providers. This position typically will advise and counsel: building tenants and service providers. This position will supervise: NA

Responsibilities
  • Job Duty 1 - Serve as main point of contact for all building related issues.
  • Job Duty 2 - Perform general maintenance repairs/assembly or provide coordination of repairs for general building structure including doors, windows, locks, furniture, etc.
  • Job Duty 3 - Provide coordination to vendors in performing maintenance, installation and construction services.
  • Job Duty 4 - Maintain building records and prepared reports/documentation.
  • Job Duty 5 - Monitor and maintain building security and safe practices.
  • Job Duty 6 - Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma

Required Experience Five to seven years of job related experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience running all maintenance related power tools including heavy equipment such as skid steer, scissor lift, forklifts
  • Good computer skills including good working knowledge of computer systems and software.
  • Good working knowledge of mechanics, plumbing, electrical, carpentry skills and painting.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

SKILLS This job requires advanced working knowledge of building operations and general maintenance requirments. Skills in customer service, contractor relations, building security and safety, building records maintenance is required as is the use of office related computer applications.

Salary range is dependent on candidate's experiences and skills that ranges from $45,419.00 - $61,771.00

Due to our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be U.S. Citizens.
